Florian lives near Duesseldorf with his wife and his two sons. His professional background lies in the world of ad agencies. Working for global networks as a Creative Director, Florian has created successful international campaigns for 12 years before jumping ship and becoming a film director. The 43 year old shoots commercials, virals, documentaries, webisodes and music videos.

 

Flo is espacially interested in exploring new forms of storytelling in the field of social media. His Twitter project "Tiny Tales" was honoured with the Grimme Online Award, one of the most prestigious culture awards in Germany.

The subsequent book was published in 2011 and became an instant success, selling tens of thousands of copies. Florian

is a member of the Art Directors Club of Germany and the German Commercial Film Academy.
